Conditions of Existence
Light's sound research

Exposição Black Hole Spaghetti, 2026
Using infrared light, a spectrum beyond human vision, the work constructs a situation in which presence is real but not visible, active but not directly perceived. The artwork is composed of an installation and a performance.
In the performance, infrared light is emitted toward solar panels connected to sound devices, translating invisible radiation into audible signals. The space is gradually deprived of visible light, and orientation shifts from sight to sound and memory. Movement becomes uncertain, guided not by what is seen, but by what can be heard and recalled. The body navigates a field of signals, searching for points of contact within an environment that resists visual confirmation.
This condition parallels a personal experience of invisibility. At a moment of emotional displacement, the question “can you hear me?” was written in my notebook, not as a request for response, but as a trace of existing without being perceived. The work extends this question into space: if something cannot be seen, does it still exist fully? And if it exists, how can it be recognized?
